The theme of my week, in both my professional and parenting world, has been the objectification of women. So it's no surprise that my friends keep talking about this billboard in LA. Not sure what to say to your kids? How about "where's her head?" "Why do you think the advertisers chose that photo?" "Who's the target audience?" "What kind of a message do pictures like that send about the value of women?" It's so important that we have these conversations-- not just with our daughters, but also with our sons! What else would you ask or say?
